Sunday, March 10, 2019 🎭 Much Ado About NothingFrom 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Robert E. Johnson Theater
Performances take place March 8–10 and March 12–13 as part of the Murray State University Shakespeare Festival. This performance takes place in the Robert E. Johnson Theatre and is jointly produced by the department of English and philosophy.
"Much Ado About Nothing" pokes fun at the language of love, for and against, as Beatrice’s words — “I had rather hear my dog bark at a crow, than a man swear he loves me” — suggest. This comedy also highlights the consequences of gossip and deception as well as the importance of honor in the pursuit of position and romance.
